What is the exact name you would like in your logo?
What is your industry?
What are the top 3 things you would like to communicate through your logo?
MoreSo came about because we saw that many leading businesses realised they needed to have a greater social purpose in how they operated their business, and many consumers want to support businesses that operate in this way. However, most businesses are not very good at publicly communicating their values and social/environmental impact.
MoreSo wants to help improve this situation, by providing a community platform where businesses can publicly talk about these topics, and engage with members of the public who care about social purpose and sustainability.
I would like the logo to communicate:
1. Our desire to use business as a way to effect positive social and environmental change.
2. The idea that the business's positive social and environmental impact may extend well beyond the business's sphere of direct influence.
3. Our professional, but contemporary approach.
What logo styles do you like (image + text, image only, text only, etc.)
I want the logo to be the text 'MoreSo' with an image of a butterfly.
I like the profile of a butterfly as shown in this link: http://yhoo.it/1nYJlf4.
Do you have any other info or links you want to share?
This blog article explains the business objectives for MoreSo: http://www.moreso.org/about-moreso/
The butterfly symbol is a reference to 'the butterfly effect'. The scientific theory that one small action in one part of the world can cause a much bigger action on the opposite side of the world.
I like the Georgia Pro Condensed light font, but I'm open to considering other fonts that may be more suitable.
I like the idea of the letters 'More' and 'So' being differentiated in some way. It could be that one phrase is bold or a different colour - as examples.
In terms of colour, I do not want more than three colours in the logo (including white). I want to use colours that create a postive, professional and emotive feel. One colour combination I considered was red and black (with the red in a similar tone to Pinterest). However, I will consider other colour combinations too.
I would like to be able to use the butterfly as a standalone brand symbol.
I would like the logo delivered in B&W, grayscale & colour.
I would like the logo files in high-resolution and low-resolution formats.
