Who are you?
Off The Quad is essentially a blog and email service offering lifestyle advice (best local bars, events, clothing, and activities) to college students. Think of it as Van Wilder writing a daily blog to the other students at his school. Note: please no drug or alcohol references in the design.
Official about us:
Everybody has that friend; there is one in every group. They are always the best dressed, and they always seem to suggest the best bars and restaurants when its time to go out. They always seem to be one step ahead, leaving you wondering- How do they do it? Were here to help. Off The Quad is here to fill you in on everything youve ever needed to know to make the most of your college experience.
What do you need?
Looking for a logo that represents the brand image and will serve as the foundation of all other company web and print design. As already stated, think Van Wilder. A college student who is also an insider to the best the college has to offer. He has style and intelligence, but can also go out every night and party. The blog is written with a perceived sense of quality education and strong vocabulary while still being about having a good time. The logo should represent that image and can be done with a combination of icon and text (preferred) or just a text treatment. Please do not submit a logo that is only an icon without finding a way to add a text treatment to it. Also, should you choose, you can do a secondary revised treatment to include the tag line: The Best of College Life, Delivered Daily.
Who Is Your Audience?
The Off The Quad audience is strictly college students.

We Absolutely Must Have
The logo must use the full name Off The Quad. Also, we will intentionally be violating a major rule of branding and will be changing colors regularly. Please design the logo so that it can be black and white and can also change to a color. As an example, black and white, and the white can be changed to a color and the logo becomes black + the color (this approach is an example, but be creative).
