LET ME TELL YOU ABOUT US:

Nightingale-Conant is the world's largest publisher of personal and spiritual growth audio programs. We have been in business for over 50 years and have published many top speakers/authors such as: Tony Robbins, Wayne Dyer, Marianne Williamson, Robert Kiyosaki, Brian Tracy, Larry Winget, Deepak Chopra, Gregg Braden, Sylvia Browne, and Ric Edelman. We publish high-end programs in the price range between $39.95 and $299.95. Our website is www.nightingale.com.

HERE IS WHAT WE NEED:

We need a new logo design to honor our 50th Anniversary in business. The logo needs to be professional, have a "classic" look, and yet not so "classic" that it belongs in another era (try to embrace the paradox of combining a "classic" feel with modern elements). Please check our target audience below to help inspire your design. We encourage you to be creative.

As you will see, I have posted several jpeg files with our past company logos, as well as a special logo that was created for our 35th Anniversary. Our current logo is the one with the word "Nightingale" in black, "Conant" in blue and the person with hands in the air. The previous logo was the one with Nightingale-Conant completely in black. And the original logo was the one with the letters "N-C" in blue with the "man inside a man" in the middle.

One idea we had was to emulate the 35th logo, with a silhouette in the circle behind the numbers that shows a combination of all three logos---to show our progression through history. But, don't limit yourself to that alone. Be creative!

OUR TARGET AUDIENCE IS:

*60% male; 40% female.

*Upper middle income to high income consumers; age 35-55 yrs., average household income of $85K and up.

*Well educated consumer; 75% have bachelors degrees, and 30% have some advanced education (graduate school, executive training, etc.)

*Success and personal growth oriented consumers who are leaders and who prefer to "move towards" positive outcomes vs. "move away from" negative outcomes.

*We want our customers to think of Nightingale-Conant as a high-end, premium priced publisher, who distributes life changing ideas. We are looking to position the content as unique, different and "exclusive"----so it is not compared to the vast amounts of audio content available on the web (to avoid looking at the product as a "commodity.") To make a comparison, if we were in the chocolate business we want our customers to think of Nightingale-Conant, and by extension, this program, as the Godiva (gold wrapped gourmet chocolate experience)----not as Hershey's!

WE ABSOLUTELY MUST HAVE (or we don't want to see) THIS IN OUR DESIGN:

No absolutes! Get out of the box and be creative. Even though the designs above have been popular, try to do something a bit different from what we've done before!
