What is the exact name you would like in your logo?
Six on Friday
What is your industry?
Entertainment and Sports
What are the top 3 things you would like to communicate through your logo?
The logo should communicate:
Music
Energy
Fun (but not childish)
What logo styles do you like (image + text, image only, text only, etc.)
Image and Text. Would like the logo to have a graphic element that stands alone without the text, which is recognizable as the brand for the band.
Do you have any other info or links you want to share?
Six on Friday is young teen rock and roll cover band. There six band members - vocalist, bassist, guitar, keyboard, drums, and guitar/saxophone player. The name came from the fact that the six band members' original rehearsal time was at 6pm on Fridays - which we also see as the start of the weekend.
They are a rising talent - participating in the state final competition and playing festivals in Chicagoland. They are more than a kiddie "garage" band. We want the logo to convey their legitimacy as a rock and roll entertainment provider. The current logo (file provided) conveys the fun and whimsy in having the "6" formed from the treble clef, but we feel it reads too much like classical music and not like a rock and roll band. The t-shirt design, incorporating the "sound bars" at the base of the logo (file attached) begin to fill the need, but not completely. We LIKE that the treble clef/6 image has the potential to eventually be stand alone, recognizable without the words "Six on Friday." The logo design can use the numerical "6," but the written name of the band should be spelled out as "Six on Friday."
We welcome both original ideas and adaptations of the existing logo(s).
