LET ME TELL YOU ABOUT US:
Our winery is the first sustainable carbon zero winery in the world. We are from New Zealand and the owners of the company are a group of young people in their 20's that want to take the snobbery out of wine and make it fun and accessible for everyone. We like to think of ourselves as the new face of wine and therefore want our logo and packaging to be reflected in a way that is fresh modern and cleverly artistic.
HERE IS WHAT WE NEED:
We need a logo for our new brand "New World Wine Co" (also packaging so check our other job posted).We are also attaching an image of concentric circles that is actually an optical illusion (so as you focus on the dot in the middle of the circles and move towards the image, they appear to be moving in unison in a clockwise direction) and we would like this to be the symbol of the company. Perhaps make the O in World the optical illusion? Turn the dot of the optical illusion into s symbol so that people focus on the image and can experience the moving circles as they get closer?
Being a sustainable company, we like the idea of things coming full circle and working in unison together. This logo will be used on tertra pack (fancy name for box wine) so you have a little more room to play around. We are also looking for package design for this product so check out that job as well.
Things to think about with regard to our logo and design; pure New Zealand, fun, young, delicious, organic looking, something modern. Do push the envelope and get creative!
Below is the description of the optical illusion find it attached. You will have to be careful with color change and shading so that it still works when you lay it into the design.
The two circles seem to move when the viewer's head is moving forwards and backwards while looking at the black dot.
OUR TARGET AUDIENCE IS:
Our target audience is 21-40 predominately female. We would like them to be surprised that a box wine looks this good compared to the old school traditional design of boxed wine.

We love the brands from all sectors showcased at http://www.commarts.com/. We think of ourselves as artists in wine, we want this translation to carry over to our brand and then to the packaging.
WE ABSOLUTELY MUST HAVE (or we don't want to see) THIS IN OUR DESIGN:
We must absolutely have a wine logo that rocks! Don't go over the top with the green theme, we are winemakers first and foremost.
We would like a designer that will work both on our logo and packaging. We have to post 2 different jobs on this website, so please place the logo into the package design.
