ALLEVA Animal Health
What do you do?
Develop and market veterinary drug formulations for farm (mainly cattle) and companion (cats and dogs) animals. These formulations include liquids, injectables, tablets, topical spot-on products.
What is the exact name you would like in your logo?
What is your industry?
Describe the target audience for your logo
The audience is broad based - from veterinarians who will either use the products in their veterinary practices or the general public who will use the products on farm or in domestic situations.
What are the top 3 things you would like to communicate through your logo?
Innovation (our products offer a point of difference)
Friendly (we are a small company competing against big faceless multinational drug companies)
Style and Concept
What logo styles do you like (text only, image only, text and image, etc.)?
Simple stylized logos are preferred. The logo could incorporate an animal theme in a stylised form but it is not an impreative that animals are shown in the logos. Infact we would prefer they were not if the logo was to end up making the business look like the company is a local vet hospital rather than a professional veterinary pharmaceutical company.
What colors do you want to see in your logo?
No color preferences
What colors do you NOT want to see in your logo?
No colors to avoid
Where will your logo be used (print, website, etc.)?
On all media, including;
- magizine ads
- pacakging - in many forms. The logo and/or brand theme/color should be capable of being used to give a family look to a diverse range of packaging forms (from small injection packs to large 5 gallon plastic cans). Two companies in the industry who use a common look to their packaging are:
It would be good to see how the logo/colour scheme could be used to provide the unifying look to the product range across a diverse range of packaging types.
Do you have other info or links you want to share?
Competitor companies in this market space are very large and include companies such as:
Bayer Animal Health
Novartis Animal Health
We need to differentiate ourselves from these.
The logo could either be a one that accompanies the word ALLEVA or be a stylised form of the word. In any case it must work well when used alone as "ALLEVA" or when used in the form "ALLEVA Animal Health"
The word ALLEVA is taken from the word "Alleviate". The rationale for the brandname is that the business of the company is Alleviating disease, pain and animal suffering.
