LET ME TELL YOU ABOUT US:

YigDigs is a new web 2.0, community-enabled website focused on bringing home owners together to help each other sell their homes and enable a new way of interacting with real estate professionals. "Digs" is a common casual reference to "home".

HERE IS WHAT WE NEED:

A logo is needed for "YigDigs". The look should be clean and casual. The logo will be used primarily for the website and signage. Some early thoughts are that the word could be two colors, like a modern green and blue, with "Yig" or "yig" in green and "Digs" or "digs" in blue, either lowercase or combination of uppercase and lowercase.

Additionally, incorporating a simple-looking house/home into the logo is desirable. The color of the house could be one of the colors in "YigDigs" (or "yigdigs"), or it could be a nice complementary color such as a light orange. The tone of the colors is important - nothing stark - rather the colors should be aesthetically pleasing, lighter in tone, and be similar to a moss or grass for green, sky blue, and complementary orange.

That said, we are open to suggestions and creativity!

For signage, a high-res version of the image will be needed. For the website version of the logo, normal resolution is ok. Thought should be given towards the portability of this logo for other purposes such as banner ads, stationery, etc.

OUR TARGET AUDIENCE IS:

Home sellers and real estate professionals in the U.S. The home seller is typically someone well educated, internet savvy, relatively younger (20-50 years old), both male and female.

WE LIKE THESE DESIGNS:

Ultimately the logo would be as memorable as the two-toned "FedEx" logo, but not as angular.
