LET ME TELL YOU ABOUT US:
We are a group of companies, engaging in different business activites such as wine import, OCS - Office Coffee Service, Venture Capital, restaurants and wakeboard cableways. The wine company www.harms-steder.de was a start-up -in 1888-, so the corporate design is highly conservative and serious. The other companies are "younger" and therefore come with a more modern design, but different names and no link to the mother. Now we decided to use the name "Harms & Steder" even for our new holding, the mother company so to speak.
Because it suits to the wine business, the wine company will continue to trade under the old logo.
HERE IS WHAT WE NEED:

The newly formed holding company should carry the name "Harms & Steder Group" and form the umbrella under which all our business activities are performed. But we - the people - are not born in 1888, and believe me, were not dead serious either. In order to attract young(er) staff, we have to come up with a logo (font for the name
Harms & Steder as well as graphical item) that underlines our belief that serious business can be combined with serious fun. New businesses or activities to come (we have a charity foundation in the pipeline and an ageny for events and incentives) should carry the name Harms & Steder as well and shall be linked to the mother company by some means of font, graphics/logo and/or color.
B2B: in step 2: Create a corporate design that enables us to engage in modern business, e.g. e-commerce, without being looked at as old-fashioned and conservative.
