What is the exact name you would like in your logo?

Pole Arts Strasbourg

What is your industry?

Entertainment and Sports

What are the top 3 things you would like to communicate through your logo?

We're a small pole dance studio that also offers flexibility classes and other pole dance related classes. We do not identify with the exotic dancer image. Our style is contemporary, with influence from classic ballet, modern jazz dance and strength tricks.
The words I associate with the school are modern, artistique, fluidity...

What logo styles do you like (image + text, image only, text only, etc.)

I like compact logos and currently I am looking a lot at round logos. I would be happy if there's a pole in the logo, but does not have to be. Text only is fine with me. An image is ok too, but please no sexy dancer in heels on a pole.

What I am looking for is a stand alone logo that we can print and use anywhere. I toy with the idea to have a logo that has written PA or pa (for Pole Arts) on it and then we can add PoleArts Strasbourg / Pole Arts Strasbourg if we need to. Like the Brooklyn Ballet logo.

PA PoleArts Strasbourg
PA Pole Arts Strasbourg
pa PoleArts Strasbourg
pa Pole Arts Strasbourg

I like calligraphy a lot. Brush strokes, handwriting, anything that reminds me of fluidity and art. The studio is called Pole Arts, so including colour and art is a given.
Regarding colours, my idea is to go with grey, black, white, gold, silver, purples (feminine but not girly: Pantone Baton Rouge, Magenta Purple, 511U, 520C, 7678C, to name a few) and maybe some blue (for the boys).

Do you have any other info or links you want to share?

We do not yet have a website, but you can find us on Facebook PoleArts Strasbourg and on Instagram @poleartsstrasbourg
I just took over the school and I'd like to subtly change the image. Facebook and Instagram are not completely updated to the new image yet.
Our new logo will figure on our social media, on prints, banners for events, on clothing, etc.
I've attached a file that serves as my inspiration board. It's just screen shots I got on Pinterest and on Google, and some of my humble attempts at creating a logo.
