Plumyumi Day Spa
What is your industry?
What are the top 3 things you would like to communicate through your logo?
We are a resort-like spa offering a full menu of services including massage, facials and nail care.
Our mission is to create a company that cares for each other and for the clients we serve. We believe our individualized care has a ripple affect and positively affect our greater community.
Plumyumi is a play on words of a phrase that has long been used in the southern part of the United States denoting how wonderful and amazing an item or experience is; i.e. plum yummi, plum awesome, plum dandy, plum fantastic, etc. This southern expression, paired with services that require "touching" such as facials, massages and nail services are important characteristics of who we are. Therefore, we strive to create an atmosphere where our clients can experience "Southern" hospitality, grace and charm with a personal touch.
What logo styles do you like (image + text, image only, text only, etc.)
I would like an image that can stand alone, paired with our company name and or incorporated into the company name. Logos I like...Macintosh "Apple," Goodwill, Under Armor, Formula 1, Pinterest, Amazon, Target, etc.
I also like the idea of using the P and Y to create an image; i.e. the letters can represent a therapist and client, form a yin/yang type image, incorporate the P or the P and Y together into a Plum image.
Can the P and Y be incorporate into a symbol that signifies things like the following: peace, renewal, vitality, caring, pampering, etc. For example, incorporate the P and Y into a butterfly.
Another idea is to adapt a single line of a plum to look like a silhouette of a body that is place above Plumyumi Day Spa (see https://peachfinancial.com.au/)
