What logo styles do you like (image + text, image only, text only, etc.)
Text / text art - am open to text and image but not image only.
I initially pictured the name - Rule6 - with the 6 being part of the word - no space. I also pictured the 6 as a flame - a gas flame - single flame that is shaped like a 6. I am open to other interpretations - that is just what I initially pictured.
I also would like to see some options with a color gradient moving from blue to orange - as a flame does - perhaps from left to right displayed via the color of the text. Again - I am not locked into this - its just the first image that came to my mind. I would like to see other interpretations that capture the sophistication and minimalist style I want.
I do not want "flame" fonts - where all letters are flames or are on fire.

This is an HR consulting practice led by a man with deep experience in a number of industries. The inspiration for the name of the business - "rule 6" - is from a foundational article called Rules of Thumb for Change Agents. There are 11 rules - rule 6 is "light many small fires". This particular rule has been a guiding force in my work spanning 30 years. To make big and difficult changes - you have to start small ...in many places - but the central image is the flame and "illumination". Illumination because - what you need for change is always right in front of you - the hard part is seeing it. So two themes I I want to capture in the logo - the flame / fire; and illumination. This context is very professional, corporate, "C-suite" executives without appearing stodgy / conservative. So a balance of stability and maturity while also conveying creativity and cutting edge expertise. Sophisticated / minimalist.
The following websites convey the kind of image I want to capture.
