A small IT, web, design, new-media firm needs a new logo for our website, letterhead, business cards etc. The firm name is Collaboratio. We rock. We promise. But, we also play by our clients' rules and get things done in big organizations. We like to think of ourselves as the cool kids who have to wear suits for our day jobs, but then we admit that we're not that cool!
HERE IS WHAT WE NEED:
A logo for our firm - Collaboratio. It is a logo that will go on our website, stationary, business cards, and one-day on the thank you check we send to you when we go public!

OUR TARGET AUDIENCE IS:
We are aimed at a broad range of people - customers, partners, etc. We want to be convey a clean, intelligent, focused look/feel. A simple design. The power of collaboration.
Our audience is typically someone who works for a large corporation or institution and wants to reach out into a new media mindset. The logo needs to pull them in by speaking to their "out of the box" thinking, but then needs to be able to also fly with the standards and constructs in which the individual works.
If our logo were a haircut, it would be one that you could spike up and go crazy with on Friday night, but have smoothed over and legit on Monday morning. (Some might say that it would be a mullet - "all work up top, all party in the rear" - but, we mullets are more fun to look at on other people than to wear yourself.)
WE LIKE THESE DESIGNS:
We like stuff that is clean, but artistic. Totally off the wall. Has to have our firm name "Collaboratio" in it. This is going to be our logo for business cards, websites, etc. So, it needs to be really versatile, yet robust.
WE ABSOLUTELY MUST HAVE (or we don't want to see) THIS IN OUR DESIGN:
Nothing corporate. Nothing stock-photo-ish. We like stuff that is off-the-wall.
