Creative Brief

Who are you?

Redemption Point is a new church start-up for Asian Americans in Orange County, California. We are all about relationship (first to God, then to one another, and the community).

We chose that name for the church because we see relationships broken all around us: in families, between generations, among the churches, in different cultures, isolations in society, etc. But Redemption Point is the Good News from God: when God reconciles our broken relationship to Him on the cross through Jesus, all of these broken relationships can (and will be) restored. To that end, as a church, we desire to be captivated by Gods love, grow together, and serve the needs around us.

What do you need?

We need a logo to brand our church, our website, letterheads, business cards, t-shirt, etc.

We like a minimalistic design, which communicate our vision. The logo should work on black and white printing as well.

Who Is Your Audience?

Our audience are Asian Americans in the age range of 20-40, living in Orange County, California. They are college-educated. Many are professional middle-class.

You are free to be creative. However, here are the websites of other churches targeting similar audience like ours in the region (and your logo will surpass them all :)


We Absolutely Must Have

The two words Redemption Point (not necessarily capitalized, could use two fonts) and if you use the word "church", it should be smaller. We like a cross ingeniously somewhere in there, maybe a red "point" somewhere. Or maybe even the play on Point with the ption at the end of Redemption.

But you are the designer. Delight us with your creativity!
