What is your industry?
We are an international childrens charity
Describe the target audience for your logo
All people in the Western World who might donate to us. Adults of all ages, but not children. People who are compassionate toward people in developing countries and/or children. Primarily people of middle or upper income.
What are the top 3 things you would like to communicate through your logo?
We work closely with Nepali people and we have deep respect for Nepali culture.
We transform the lives of deeply impoverished children in profound ways.
We are a very effective organization that is making a nationwide impact in Nepal.
Style and Concept
What logo styles do you like (text only, image only, text and image, etc.)?
Text and image, preferably with an image that can also stand alone.
What colors do you want to see in your logo?
Were willing to change our current color palette, but only if we get a suggestion that we feel is truly an improvement. Our current palette includes (in hex and CMYK):
red (CC0000; 0,100,100,20),
brown (660000; 0,100,100,60), and
white, with small amounts of
yellow (FFCC00; 0,20,100,0) and
peach (FFCC99, 0,20,40,0).
Please visit www.nepalyouthfoundation.org to see how we use these colors.
What colors do you NOT want to see in your logo?
We deal with serious issues such as malnutrition, child slavery, and AIDS. Although we are a childrens charity, we dont want a cute, whimsical, fun, or childish color scheme, such as pastels or a combination of bright primary colors.
Where will your logo be used (print, website, etc.)?
Websites, business cards, posters, brochures, newsletters, stationery. Large and small scales.
Do you have other info or links you want to share?
Years ago, we had a logo with a lotus illustration, and some of us have a preference for a lotus.
Preferably, we would like the logo to have something that represents Nepal/Himalaya, children, or both. But were open to any ideas.
We dont want anything thats extremely cute, whimsical, or fun.
Please see www.nepalyouthfoundation.org to learn more about our messaging and how we represent our organization.
