LET ME TELL YOU ABOUT US:

I started NewDigitalCaf in 2009. I was previously an industry analyst and executive running a market research division that focused on consumer, digital and social media, mobility and computing research. I focus on the evolution of content across three screens- TV, Web and mobile and its impact on brands.

I have a background in market research, marketing and consulting, and I work with firms from startups to F100 firms on their marketing, product and services strategies.

HERE IS WHAT WE NEED:

I need a cool logo for my blog at http://newdigitalcafe.com The current one I threw together in PowerPoint and it's not great. But it is part of my business card design (Vistaprint). So I will use whatever logo that wins on my blog, on reports I write, and maybe on my business card.

I picked the name NewDigitalCaf to emphasize that I focus on digital markets and content. A caf is a meeting place, to have coffee, meet people, maybe make new relationships, and increasingly in this economic environment, find job opportunities and conduct business. But I primarily focus on consumer content, consumer mobility, social media and digital media geared towards consumers, not enterprises.

OUR TARGET AUDIENCE IS:

I work with the top technology brands (hardware, software, and services), media agencies and PR firms, content providers/brands, telecommunications providers, and service providers (cable, telco TV, wireless). I also have a deep background in consumer electronics and mobile and spend a lot of time with application developers around iPhone, Android, WebOS, Symbian, Windows, Flash, HTML.

WE LIKE THESE EXAMPLES:

I haven't looked at others. Most are Wordpress templates with simple logos (yawn).

WE ABSOLUTELY MUST HAVE THIS IN OUR PIECE:

I want my customers to to think about my blog site as the #1 place to go for opinion on digital industry buzz whether it is Web, TV, or mobile focused, and also to learn about companies that have content strategies for all three screens- Web, TV, and mobile.
