LET ME TELL YOU ABOUT US:
My name is DJ Geometrix and I am an open format club DJ and an up & coming music producer/remixer from the Washington DC metro area. I have 16 years DJ experience spinning a mash-up style of club friendly hits from top 40 to hip-hop to house to rock to 80s/90s. I've dominated the whole Washington DC nightlife scene, spinning at every single nightclub & lounge in the city and have been one of the most sought after DJs for celebrities and rich socialites alike. Most experienced club DJs in DC do not have a turntablist, battle DJ, or music production background like I do and that's what sets me apart from the rest of the crop. I recently won a McDonalds DJ competition with the crowd of over a thousand voting me the best DJ in Washington DC. I have an awesome ear for mixing different sounds and I can skillfully scratch music to my heart's content. I also have a huge fan following in the area with over 35,000 myspace, over 5,000 on my emailing list, and thousands of fans on both twitter and facebook.
HERE IS WHAT WE NEED:
I need a new logo that says "DJ Geometrix" and looks like a logo that's created for a musician or recording artist. I don't want the cliche DJ logo, but I do want a logo that represents who I am and that I can be proud to use in every single promotional material which includes my website, twitter, facebook, myspace, flyers, mix CDs, stickers, banners, etc. I want something that would look great on fitted baseball caps and on t-shirts. I want something that would fit nicely in a record label (http://www.djlabels.com/recordlabels.htm), so looking for something to fit in either a circular or square layout. I want something ultra cool, unique, edgy, hipster-ish, electronic, just plain ill. Please DON'T make it cheesy, fun, and corporate looking.
Here's links to logos I've used in the past:
OUR TARGET AUDIENCE IS:

WE LIKE THESE DESIGNS:
Here are examples of DJs in my genre that have great logos I want to compete with:
Here are a few blogs and online stores that reflect my style:
WE ABSOLUTELY MUST HAVE (or we don't want to see) THIS IN OUR DESIGN:
I don't want to see any vinyl records or turntables or a DJ person in the logo. Don't want the cliche DJ logo.
