What is the exact name you would like in your logo?
What is your industry?
Consumer Products - specifically aimed at people looking to live an active healthy life. This is a start-up company with an innovative new approach to ergonomic product design. We search for ergonomic problems that havent been solved by existing products, and deliver product-based solutions. Our first product is a lumbar support that transforms your car seat into a custom-moulded seat that fits you perfectly, similar to a custom-made racing seat.
Describe the target audience for your logo
The core age range is 35 to 65 and we are targeting those who want the 'right thing', and are willing to spend the appropriate money to get it. Our initial markets will be Western Europe, North America and Australasia.
What are the top 3 things you would like to communicate through your logo?
The essence of our back support is that it will fit the user better than all other back supports. It does this by moulding itself to the individual user. This concept could be reflected in the logo, but is not a requirement.
TOP THREE THINGS TO COMMUNICATE:
1. That Morfit is a company that understands the importance of ergonomics and comfort in their products
2. That Morfit's products are intelligent yet simple to use, with innovative yet proven technology.
3. That Morfit offers products that have a fresh, modern look that stands out from the rest. Just because something is good for you doesn't mean it has to look like it has escaped from a hospital.
Style and Concept
What logo styles do you like (text only, image only, text and image, etc.)?
Text, and a mark that can be used alongside or separate from the logo eg it could be a stylised letter from the word morfit, or something more abstract.
We like readable logos the whole word must be visible. Simple, clean design.
We tend to like sans-serif fonts but are open to serif.
We are more likely to choose an abstract solution over a literal solution. E.g. we dont want something based on a graphic representation of a spine or a person sitting up straight. We dont want a red cross or anything medical.
What colors do you want to see in your logo?
We like orange, especially in simple colour combinations eg with black or white. We are also open to other colours. It has to work in 1 colour
What colors do you NOT want to see in your logo?
Graduated tones, gradients
Where will your logo be used (print, website, etc.)?
The logo and mark will be applied to products and to web, print etc. It may be embroidered or screen printed onto fabric. It may be stamped into plastic parts, i.e. embossed only - no colour.
The logo and mark will also be used on the website, product labels and brochures.
Do you have other info or links you want to share?
Dont focus too much on the fact that the product is a back support. We dont want something that limits us to this exact product category.
