We are interested in YOUR SELECTION OF ONE of 3 views THAT ARE SUGGESTED BELOW, of a somewhat slim, athletic looking chameleon (they exist!), such as in photos 3, 8 (although we want to avoid similarity to the GEICO gecko), 14, 20, or 23 of the attachment. A fairly wide range of photos were selected to show the range of colors, shapes, and poses possible with chameleons. (But we had some problems with file conversion, so PLEASE EMAIL US FOR MORE PICTURES which we can send to you by email, at email@example.com)
Of course, chameleons change their colors, and we will want to allow for great flexibility with this. We will want the chameleon to have shape-changing capabilities in some ways.
(1) A side pose like photo like 2, 11, 14 or 27.
(2) A somewhat frontal view like 12 or 16 (or facing completely forward should work).
(3) A standing view like 28 (not on the attachment, but THIS CAN BE EMAILED TO YOU), only facing forward (and not with the head straight up, we want to see the face). We will want the third view to be biased towards a human body shape because this chameleon will model our clothes as well. So it would be best to have all views with a subtly human body or torso shape (or at least not inconsistent with that); and, thinking ahead, to set the stage for the chameleon to be endowed with shape plasticity..
Please know that we may wish to work with our winning creative to finish creating all three desired poses for an additional award.
And ultimately, we hope to later use animated sequences with this character.
Feel free to interpret the chameleon--some bold, straight lines for emphasis or other striking appearance would be just fine. We want this to be an iconic trademark or mascot. And simplicity is important, so that new drawings can be done fairly quickly. We hope to be successful and contract in the future with the artist we select, for further work. If you have animation and/or morphing capability, we would like to know that.
Please also email with any questions or innovative suggestions!
