LET ME TELL YOU ABOUT US:
Since its founding in 2003, Market Tree has assisted various companies in reaching their marketing goals.
The consultants and associates at Market Tree set high standards and pride themselves in delivering superior services.
We specialise in Marketing planning for small companies and furthermore have a training department that educates business executives in Customer Relationship Management, Branding, Marketing, Market Research and Marketing Planning. We've trained over 1000 executives in South Africa.
We've built a credible brand in the marketing industry in South Africa.
We need to refresh our current brand and have two options:
a) Either a recognisable brand - based on the old one
b) Or - a new brand - based on your creative genius
The main aim is to modernise the look and feel of the logo.
The full name of the logo should be "Market Tree Consultancy"
Under the uploaded files you will see the current logo, as well as suggested 'new' colours...the pink came out a bit to bright in the scanning, but I take it that you will try your best to provide the best composition in terms of colour.
I'd ideally like to keep the "tree idea" (growing trees), but as I said - very open to your creative ideas.
HERE IS WHAT WE NEED:
New logo / fresh approach (keyword 'fresh')
Our corporate colours are black, pink and grey. We are open to new colours. But we need warm and inviting colouring (especially because the business is people-centered).
The logo will be used on our website, training manuals, proposals, business cards, signage and corporate gifts.
For more info on the company visit www.markettree.co.za but please do not be influenced by the current look and feel of the site - we need renewal!
OUR TARGET AUDIENCE IS:
For consulting: Business owners, MD's, Directors, Marketing Managers
For training: Human Resource Managers, Talent Managers, Directors
Geographic: Cosmopolitan / Corporate / Top level managers yet...40 year olds...
those looking for a unique solution (our training is custom made)
These people have various training companies to their disposal - when they see the
Market Tree Consultancy logo they must think "yes" this is for us.
WE LIKE THESE DESIGNS:
The design is in essence a feminine design. Most of the target audience is female. It should however be inclusive (male appeal as well).
I like these designs (see URL en then the reason...)
...use of font
WE ABSOLUTELY MUST HAVE (or we don't want to see) THIS IN OUR DESIGN:
Warm and inviting
'Marketing' slant / look and feel / modern...'with the times'... "2012"
The logo must be easy to use in other documentation such as training manuals and proposals.
No informal fonts i.e. comic sans / no irrelevant colours such as blue & black / emerald green / navy / maroon. No avitars / people / faces / geometric shapes
Here's an example of a no-no's http://www.dalecarnegie.com/ (one of my biggest competitors)
