Business Overview

Generator Communications Inc (www.GenerateRevenue.ca) is privately held real estate sales and marking consulting company located in North Vancouver, British Columbia Canada. Through its various Guild members, Generator has marketed and sold over 500 million dollars in various types of real estate across multiple cotenants and hemispheres (resort, residential, commercial, fractional, timeshare, development lands, etc). This global view has afforded Generator the unique ability to make the following business statement:

The manner in which local community residential real estate is sold has not been perfected. We believe that communities can and should be differentiated and those differences highlighted. In order to be true experts and deliver best in class customer service, relators could align themselves with a community, focus their energy and add true value. The idea of farming a geographical region is not new to the industry, but the idea of selling a neighbourhood before selling a listing is very uncommon.

Lynn Valley Life, a division of Generator Communications Inc is North Vancouvers newest hyper local real estate company. In contrast to the typical realtor approach of focusing on a wide geographic area with a self serving website that highlights their listings and personal sales pitch, LVL will focus on promoting the lifestyle benefits and selling one specific neighbourhood, in this case, Lynn Valley on Vancouvers North Shore (ie. similar to selling one resort destination over another - think Vail vs Aspen) . It will add value to the community in many ways including acting as an information hub for events, activities, news, business reviews etc. As an element of this information, real estate will be represented discreetly and unobtrusively. Our intention is to build relationships and serve the community in multiple ways with the hope that when the time comes to buy or sell local real estate LVL realtors will be seen as the subject matter experts (it's all they do) and trusted local, homegrown and vested partners.

The website LynnValleyLife.com is a pilot project for Generator with the long-tem objective of developing the model into and offering that can be packaged and licensed to realtors in other markets interested in truly differentiating themselves. Think WhiteRockLife.com, SaanichLife.com, NewportBeachLife.com, etc.

LynnValleyLife.com will be the cornerstone of the companys online presence. It will serve as a community hub, showcasing hyper-local content (local personalities/businesses, events, and news) and incorporating social media elements to drive engagement and interaction with the neighbourhood. In addition, it will serve as the primary point of contact for potential buyers/sellers of Lynn Valley Real Estate. Similar to other real estate sites, LVL.com will provide the relevant information (current listings, market data, open houses, mortgage calculators, etc..), but will focus exclusively on Lynn valley listings and market conditions. This content will also be served up to the visitor using best in class dynamic content web tools.

What are the top 3 things you would like to communicate through your logo?

The URL in - easy to read and reversible (lots of ballons, t-shirts, banners etc)
friendly, welcoming but intelligent and professional - schrewd but not abusive
clean and simple but thoughtfull but well designed (i.e. obviously not homemade)
