LET ME TELL YOU ABOUT US:

Its a PR website about the neighborhood, not from a African American historical context. But from a northsider's perspective who has lived here now for about 7-8 years.

This neighborhood needs to be more diversified from a socio economic way because its at a standstill. I go to the neighborhood meetings.....there is very little improvement. The reason why is that there is not a diversified economy down here. Business owners do not want to invest where their business will fail because there is not enough buyers!

We will highlight museums, shops, restaurants, doctors, vets, neighbors, everyday people. People who have been here and are new and are making a different, filling a void. There will be much talk about real estate with realtors because we want to attract northsiders to come into the neighborhood and to bring their spending power to the neighborhood. There will be talk of real estate development. There will be a showcase for people who take pride in their homes, keep them fixed and beautiful.

Eventually we will host our own tours of the neighborhood, neighborhood walks. We will talk to the realtors and newspapers and basically we are saying : " consider this neighborhood and don't be scared of the southside".

That is our goal: highlight the southside and also to put pressure on things not getting done correctly.

HERE IS WHAT WE NEED:

WE came up with a fresh looking, modern logo....because that is our target audience: northsiders with buying power. However, its a bit too sleek.

I want a skyline of greystones so it looks like an old historical neighborhood but with skinny line weights so it still looks modern, not heavy.

OUR TARGET AUDIENCE IS:

Northsiders, "Yuppies" , Suburbanites, and people not familiar with the neighborhood

We want skinny lined relevant greystone/brownstone skyline on top of our logo....
