What is the exact name you would like in your logo?
Love That Rebecca or LoveThatRebecca.com (whichever looks better, I'm open)
Do you have any other info or links you want to share?
My biz is voice over - I record my voice into a microphone and the recordings are used in a variety of video and sound projects. My website is LoveThatRebecca.com. Please to listen to my voice demos at my website to better understand what I do AND how I sound, so that it inspires you.
My new tagline and motto to be used in my future campaigns is: LoveThatRebecca.com is perfectly different female VO talent - a chic geek... A perfect fit for that VO that needs "something" different to stand out but still fit in... You're gonna LoveThatRebecca!
Key words are "chic geek" to put across the idea that I'm polished - fashionably aware and technologically savvy with a little nerd thrown in. I'm feminine and smart, confident and quirky in a nicely balanced mix. A key phrase is "something different that stands out but still fits in". This appeals to the corporations that want to stretch, but not too far! I am not Lady Gaga or Ozzie Ozbourne crazy, but I'm not Donna Reed or Marilyn Monroe either. I'm more a Zooey Deschanel, Holly Hunter, Jodie Foster - something different with appeal.
My facebook "page" is here: https://www.facebook.com/LoveThatRebecca...
By checking it out you will see typical posts / topics to get a feel for my 'geek' side.
I'm also an active member on Twitter (@RebeccaMichaels) and LinkedIn.
Do not use images of mouths or microphones as these are considered cliche in the VO industry.
What are the top 3 things you would like to communicate through your logo?
- Everyone loves working with Rebecca
- A different and appealing VO
- Chic Geek Female VO talent
(above not in any particular order)
Do not use images of mouths or microphones as these are considered cliche in the VO industry.
What logo styles do you like (image + text, image only, text only, etc.)
First, I repeat, do not use images of mouths or microphones as these are considered cliche in the VO industry. Generally I don't want to use a pic of me, but a 'cartoonized' version of me is ok.
I would like Image and Text. Text I want is "LoveThatRebecca.com" or "Love That Rebecca" (notice the spaces between the words in the non "dot-com" version.
I'm open to font / colors / etc, although I'd appreciate if we could go black & white easily, however that's not a priority if an issue.
An idea that I love is the "I Love Lucy" logo that was used for the old television show with Lucille Ball and Desi Arnaz. It connotes a warm feeling of nostalgia, feminine, comedy etc that all resonate really well with me. I've shared that old image for this purpose.
My old "logo" if you could call it that is absolutely a cliche in VO industry because it's me (stylized B&W) in front of a microphone, but has some flavor of what I've been telling you... It's also uploaded.
I can share more photos of myself if you want to go down that road.
