LET ME TELL YOU ABOUT US:

London Doggies is a start up company that provides consistent, and excellent doggie daycare for the typical London hound. Most doggie daycares in London are individuals who provide varying degrees of daycare and are often fully booked on holidays or provide inconsistent care - often leaving the daycare dogs at home whilst walking their other dogs. London Doggies is a professional company that ensures a high level of quality care for every type of dog, which includes a lot of exercise and socialising. It has a very large indoor and outdoor facility (+3,000 sq. ft) for the dogs in addition to three hour walks in the park literally across the road from the center. We are also opening a dog hotel, a dog wash and providing professional dog photography all as part of London Doggies.

Amazingly, we are one of the first companies in London to have a daycare facility designed especially for dogs so we need to emphasize our professionalism at every level - including the logo and brochure.

About the founder: I am half American, half German and have lived in several different countries allowing me to experience the best of each culture. I have grown up with dogs, have a beautiful giant breed myself (a chocolate colored Neapolitan Mastiff) and truely love these beautiful creatures. I fully understand the concerns owners have about their pets and the guilt they feel for leaving their dog at home and believe this will help me start a worthwhile business.

HERE IS WHAT WE NEED:

A simple and effective logo and brochure design. We are a start up so open to all sorts of creative ideas.

OUR TARGET AUDIENCE IS:

Really people from all walks of life own dogs and most dog owners love their new addition to the family.. so DOG LOVERS. But it's mostly sophisticated, young to middle aged professionals who can afford and/or justify doggie daycare.

Our target audience are couples where both work, or single professionals who have a dog as a companion. We are targeting Islington (more conservative and wealthy part of London), Shoreditch (expensive and very creative area of London) and areas around the parks of East London (up and coming areas of London with plenty of middle class families or young trendy couples). It is unlikely to be anyone who is retired or at home (although we can foresee some stay at home mums/dads wanting a break from the daily dog walking).

WE LIKE THESE DESIGNS:

We love the Dulux dog! And the Andrex dog!!

Elliot Ewritt is known for his famous dog photographs and was the inspiration for our website. Our website is rather classic looking - all done in sepia and black and white pictures with flashes of coloured pictures. We are trying to appeal to the more sophisticated pet owner.

On crowdspring we like the dog that House created for the familypetresort 'Family Pet Resort logo and cool Tshirt for our pet loving folks' but think it may be a little too robot looking for us.

WE ABSOLUTELY MUST HAVE (or we don't want to see) THIS IN OUR DESIGN:

Don't want to see any pampered toy dogs that fit into your handbag.. I believe dogs should be allowed to be dogs and not treated like babies or toys. Having said that there are a lot of small breed pet owners in London but think there's been quite a strong backlash against the Paris Hilton type dogs.
