The name of this application is Pearson Inform. It is a web-based reporting and analytics application specialized for K-12 education. If you're familiar with the term or concept of "Business Intelligence"...this application is "Education Intelligence"...i.e. data that facilitates decisions for educators regarding changes to improve student learning. It is a Web 2 application that provides a very user-friendly and rich user-interface experience that makes looking at data compelling. Pearson is the world's largest education company. Pearson Inform is used to collect, report, and analyze student test results along with other related student data (e.g. demographics, intervention strategies, academic improvement plans). Slogan for the product is "Experience Data-driven Decisions. Early. Often. Easy. Now."
HERE IS WHAT WE NEED:
We need a new logo for this product that emphasizes the word "Inform" with "Pearson" less prominent (Pearson company logo will virtually always appear with the product logo somewhere...but "Pearson" must also be part of the product logo--does not have to be same or similar font as company logo). The logo will be used in the application itself as well as all other marketing materials--both printed and online.
OUR TARGET AUDIENCE IS:
Our customers are primarily school districts. Our users are district administrators, school administrators, teachers, and parents. We want our customers to think of us as progressive, state-of-art, user-friendly. Ease-of-access to data, dynamic UI, and richness of feature set differentiate from competition.
WE ABSOLUTELY MUST HAVE (or we don't want to see) THIS IN OUR DESIGN:
Must have both words, "Pearson Inform"...but want Inform to be emphasized and Pearson less prominent (but required to be there). Same/similar font as company logo is not required.
