LET ME TELL YOU ABOUT US:

We are "SharedValues" and we are just starting up. We are building a site and platform focused on driving social change.

We want to change the way people evaluate investment options. We want investors to make more thoughtful decisions about how their money changes the world, for better and for worse. We want people with similar outlooks to be able to share their investment insights with others. We want to help channel investment dollars toward rewarding investments who return both financial and social value.

While we expect a great many people to be interested in protecting the environment - some may love or abhor the defense industry.... so we want to avoid overly 'crunchy' brand associations. We'd like to attract users from all walks of life.

When someone leaves our site we want them to be able to say.

"My money is invested in a way that reflects me and my values"

HERE IS WHAT WE NEED:

We need a logo we can use on everything. First up business cards, power point presentations, and a web site. More work to follow if we click.

We'd like the both vector based images and the source files (photoshop).

We would like a very simple, friendly, and welcoming design.

OUR TARGET AUDIENCE IS:

Our target audience is middle income America - and a subset of people awakening to the troubles between big money and our economy and culture.

Someone who has investment capital. They are likely maintaining a trading account where they trade equities and bonds. Or more likely they have a 401k account through their employer, that is managed by someone they have never met.

If it helps to have a persona attached to it imagine a pregnant woman who's thinking about her investments and her future child. She has retirement accounts and a need for real profits in that account but only lots of gimmicky junk mail and self interested investment advice - she ignores it. She's looking for a 3rd party, that was recommended by a friend. Somewhere she can get the straight scoop and where she can communicate with other people interested in her same concerns and looking for the same answers. Her chief concern is she knows she wants her money to be building a better world at the same time it is a nest egg. A world that reflects her values and one that she will welcome her child.
