LET ME TELL YOU ABOUT US:

In short, Global Voices for Maternal Health is a new website hosted by the University of Oxford that will be visited by 10,000 doctors, nurses and midwives across Africa and Asia.

The aim of the website is to stimulate discussions around key issues in maternal health and to tap into the collective knowledge and experience of these healthcare workers to discover new and innovative solutions to healthcare problems, i.e. a new use of crowdsourcing. We are big believers in crowdsourcing, so thought it ideal to work with the creatives in the www.crowdspring.community.

Our strapline is sharing knowledge, saving lives

HERE IS WHAT WE NEED:

We want an eye-catching logo that we can use on our website and other marketing materials. The logo needs to be appropriate across cultures, and should capture the key concepts: "pregnancy" and secondarily global voices of the community of health professionals.

Expectation is that the design will be delivered in an appropriate Adobe format (Photoshop or Illustrator), and any fonts used are cleared for commercial use.

We're offering $250 and ATTRIBUTION RIGHTS to the designer whose work is selected.

OUR TARGET AUDIENCE IS:

National and international professional institutions of doctors, midwives and nurses in the developing world who want their voices heard by the international health community.

WE ABSOLUTELY MUST HAVE THIS IN OUR DESIGN:

The design must be one that will work well at different sizes or resolutions.

Ideally the logo should capture our key concept "pregnancy" as well as one or more of the following concepts: global, community/crowd, voices/ideas, healthcare workers.
