LET ME TELL YOU ABOUT US:

We are a micro-roasting company selling fresh roasted, high quality coffee online. We do not have any retail stores and do not plan on opening any at this time, so our Web presence is crucial as it is the only face our current and future customers will see.

Coffee is warm. Inviting. Smooth. Standard sized black type on white won't cut it anymore. We need a brand new logo that we can use primarily on our Web site (not our current Web site, the one we'll post to have created via crowdSPRING in a few days). We'll also be using the logo / icon you'll create on our coffee packaging which we mail out to customers, shipping boxes as well as t-shirts, coffee mugs and other accessories.

HERE IS WHAT WE NEED:

We want a logo that will fit the look and feel of the Web site we'll soon be posting on crowdSPRING, NOT our current Web site (we wanted the logo completed first). The Web site will have Earth tones and will be very modern.

Here's the theme and overall image we want to portray to our visitors through the logos / icon:

*Clean Web 2.0 look and feel

*Warm, inviting, coffeehouse feel

*Browns, maybe some golds (warm colors)

*transparent background (or edges) so it can be put on many different backgrounds with other colors cleanly

*No rectangular backgrounds behind the logo (we don't wany ANY backgrounds)

*No thin letters (we don't like logos like Wikipedia)

3 versions

-One that says: Weekly Roast Coffee

-One that says: WeeklyRoast.com

-Abbreviated logo icon; example, the flame for FeedBurner, the 'f' for Facebook, etc. We'd prefer a symbol (coffee bean?) over letter(s), though.

Again, we really like the FeedBurner flame if that helps.

*Need a small TM to the top right of all 3 versions

*Need all 3 versions in black and white as well

Formats

*The logo should be delivered as a very high-res color and B&W EPS, TIFF, JPG as well as the original fonts and PS or AI files

OUR TARGET AUDIENCE IS:

Young adults in their 20-30's (about 75% male and 25% female) who are very Web savvy and very aware of and utilize Web 2.0 services frequently (Facebook, Twitter, etc.). Most online coffee retailers have poorly designed, unrecognizable logo's. We want our logo to be very reflective of the Web 2.0 movement and help us to be seen as a company that's hip and with it and be visually appealing.

WE LIKE THESE DESIGNS:

Although we want the logo to have that Web 2.0 look (to match the upcoming Web site revamp), we want it to represent our company well and make us look credible (not only as a premiere coffee roasting company, but also a company that "gets it").

We like the following logo's and icons:

*We especially like the flame graphic for the FeedBurner logo as an example icon / part of the logo

WE ABSOLUTELY MUST HAVE (or we don't want to see) THIS IN OUR DESIGN:

*No icons that mean nothing.

*We must have 3 versions:

-One that says: Weekly Roast Coffee

-One that says: WeeklyRoast.com

-Abbreviated logo icon; example, the flame for FeedBurner, the 'f' for Facebook, etc. We'd prefer a symbol (coffee bean?) over letter(s), though.

-We really like the FeedBurner flame if that helps.

*We must have the TM on all 3 versions to protect ourselves
