My new brand of bottled pasta sauces are going to be called Gone Tomatoes! This brand will be marketed online through social networks, on gonetomatoes.com and in select gourmet stores. The branding is 2 fold; a sauce made with regional USA ingredients, nothing imported. A sauce that is not cooked all day...our sauce has a fresh clean flavor because it is simmered for only a few minutes to infuse the oil with herbs then packed off quickly to retain a fresca or fresh tomato taste. Our formulas are modern and designed to please the sophisticated "foodie" with combos like "Dried Tomatoes, Rosemary & Cream, Porcini Mushroom w Thyme and Marsala Wine. No old=school soupy marinara or Vodka sauce.
Many "premium" sauces are using imported oil, tomatoes etc..
In a green conscious world, I believe that local is best. I am one of the leading authorities on local foods so this sauce is in keeping with my commitment to local foods. We will be listing the states that provide our ingredients EX: Wisconsin cheese, California Tomatoes, Georgia Vidalia onions etc..
The premium sauce market is dominated by companies who market with a phony "italian" grandma image.." our sauce is slow simmered all day..tomatoes sauce that is simmered all day becomes sweet and bitter which is why many brands add sugar and corn syryup to cut the acid. Our sauce is brought to temperature then packaged quickly to ensure a fresh or fresca flavor..not s slow cooked sweet thin watery sauce.

HERE IS WHAT WE NEED:
Brand identity, logo. Then, after I approve, I will need actual package designs....the label size will be determined by the label space on the jars. There will be multiple flavors, I want each flavor to have a different label color EX red for roasted peppers... Yellow for sun dried tomato .....cocoa for mushroom etc
So, I need the logo image first, then each sauce label, , then stationary, sales- sheets etc...
OUR TARGET AUDIENCE IS:
women and men 25-50 self professed foodies
I want them to see that these sauces are designed by a Chef (me) with great ingredients and modern flavor combinations.... not selling a phony "Italian" image...made with local ingredients from the USA..and promoting those regions where the ingredients come from.
