LET ME TELL YOU ABOUT US:

www.Callecielovineyard.com is a small boutique winery and vineyard in Northern California, (San Francisco Bay Area, U.S.A.)

Our Vineyard is trying to develop a "Web 2.0" company/community in that we are trying to make great wine along with developing a Social Media aspect to the vineyard and wine community online @ callecielovineyard.com We use a service called www.crushpadwine.com who is a "Web 2.0" company in the wine Industry, they handle the ecommerce backend and fulfillment of our wine once it is sold from callecielovineyard.com. Our company is big into "Green Practices" Biodynamics for our vineyard and social networking.

More Wine "Web 2.0" companies we like:

Cameron Hughes Wine: www.chwine.com

Snooth Wine Blog: www.snooth.com

We need a clean logo/identity that expresses that we do serious business, but also shows that we are a young, creative and fun team of people. We love social media and all that is "Web 2.0" design -- twitter, facebook, Linkedin, Jott, etc. We like www.booninc.com This clean simple site, homepage is simple and clean. The website which we are developing is not going to be your typical winery website. We will have blogs, videos, twitter feeds and updates, youtube videos, lots of large clean simple images with text overlays, we will be selling our wine on the site and I will have hi-rez pictures of the bottled wine with the labels. We love all the simple design that has come about with sites like Twitter, Wine 2.0, etc. The site that we currently up is only in development and not final in terms of colors or layout.

The logo will be used on our letterhead, business cards, and website. This is why it needs to be a logo that fits on everything and people need to remember it.

Our potential costumers need to see our logo/website and want to purchase our wine.

We like simple colors one or two and variations of these in different shades. I have attached some pdf's with some sites and logos we like:

Some ides of colors we like, grays, blues, reds, and we also will want a b/w version so as I can change colors in the future if needed to match new site design.

We love " less is more" mantra

Thanks and we look forward to some great logo/identity concepts.

HERE IS WHAT WE NEED:

We need a logo/identity that will be used on our Website, blog, ecommerce store, that is in development. We are using wordpress to develope the site. We will also want to use this logo/identity on our business cards, future wine labels, blog, print collateral.

OUR TARGET AUDIENCE IS:

Wine lovers, vineyard enthusiates, Computer Savvy (Think - "Web 2.0", Facebook, Twitter, Linkedin, Crowdspring :) -- Crowd, sophisticated end user who likes quality and the unusual product. "They want something different not mainstream."

Some charaterristics of the kind of things our target audience would like are:

Dwell Magazine, Modern Design, Classic Furniture that never goes out of style, think Eames, Knoll, Stark, Tiffany, Smart Cars.

WE LIKE THESE DESIGNS:

Please see the attached pdfs, these pdf's have some websites we like, logo styles, and ideas of what we are looking for in a logo/identity.

WE ABSOLUTELY MUST HAVE (or we don't want to see) THIS IN OUR DESIGN:

Our logo should have any variations of

www.callecielovineyard.com

callecielovineyard.com

needs to have some kind of icon that is incoporated into the logo.

We don't want your typical vineyard/winery logo we are looking for something that people will look at and say this is a cool logo, I want to buy there wine or find out more about this company and what they do. Logo needs to stand out in a sea of winery/vineyard logos.
