LET ME TELL YOU ABOUT US:
We are a young software company providing iPhone/iPad/browser remote control of in-home energy, lights, comfort, entertainment and appliances. Our company is named "candi"; the logo will be designed around that name. Although our product is remote control of electronic equipment, we prefer our logo and user experience to feel warm and inviting, like quality interior design for homes.
HERE IS WHAT WE NEED:
We need a company logo that works in 3D color as well as flat black-and-white. The logo should operate as an easily identifiable stand-alone icon, as well as when accompanied with the company name "candi" (all lower case). There is no tag line other than the company name. Although our product is remote control of electronic equipment, we prefer our logo and user experience to feel warm and inviting, like quality interior design for homes.
OUR TARGET AUDIENCE IS:
Oour audience is iPhone/iPad users; decor-conscious home owners; energy management early adopters; affluent owners of larger-than-average homes. Typical users are 30-something to 50-something professional couples, iPhone users, tech-savvy, web-connected homeowners.
WE LIKE THESE EXAMPLES:
We do not wish to predispose crowdSpring creative talent toward any particular design. However, while our product is not "candy", it might be interesting to see a few designs that are vaguely suggestive of a peppermint candy lozenge.
We do enjoy the color schemes in web sites such as:
WE ABSOLUTELY MUST HAVE THIS IN OUR PIECE:
Warm colors that integrate with a home's interior decor are preferred. Should show well on both solid white and solid black backgrounds. Sans-serif font for "candi" company name. Must support 24-bit PNG transparency without soft edges. Logo icon should scale well down to about 40px, and up to about 300px.
