What is the exact name you would like in your logo?

Lovin' the Lou

Do you have any other info or links you want to share?

This logo is for a contest we are calling "Lovin' the Lou" (St. Louis).

Mills Properties is an apartment company with properties throughout greater St. Louis. We are running a contest where we will give away free rent for a year at The Laurel Apartments (http://laurelstl.com), an amazing new property located on Washington Avenue in Downtown St. Louis. To win, the participant must submit a video about why they love St. Louis, Missouri in our contest.

Our target audience is:
* Young (25-35yrs old) professionals
* Hip and trendy
* Web and tech savvy
* Artistic crowd
* Relationship oriented

Here are some examples of other logos we like:

What are the top 3 things you would like to communicate through your logo?

Some words that describe us:
* Urban
* Lifestyle experience
* Night Life
* Highly Engaged
* Social

We'd like to see options that reflect St. Louis is some way -- not necessarily the arch, but more about the hidden treasures the city has to offer.

What logo styles do you like (image + text, image only, text only, etc.)

The logo can include both image and text. Ideally, we would like to see a cool, modern font for the contest name accompanied by simple but compelling imagery. The artwork should relate (at least loosely) to the overall vibe of the contest -- main concepts to communicate are "loving life" and "strong connection to St. Louis, Missouri."

The logo needs to work well online, particularly when shared through social profiles. The logo, an icon or some recognizable piece of the logo should work well in a square (for use in online avatars).

Stock logos or anything resembling clip art will not be accepted.
