What is the exact name you would like in your logo?
Urban Hives
What is your industry?
Food and Beverage
What are the top 3 things you would like to communicate through your logo?
I would like to communicate HONEY BEES in the CITY. Logo should show city buildings or skyscrapers. One large happy bee and maybe smaller bees around it which don't have to be recognizable as bees (just silhouettes) Bee should look cute and non-threatening because bees in the cities are happier than the bees in the rural areas because there are no pesticides on the flowers in the cities. Bee should not look like it will sting someone.
This is for website that I am building called www.urbanhives.org. Website will promote locations around the global cities where people can keep bees. It is important we show a bee as image in the logo because we are not using word "bee" in the name of the website. So, if it can look modern that is good - but keep the logo colorful and cute.
If it can feature hive somehow that would be good as well. Maybe you can draw inspiration from modern beehive from this picture: http://www.taraframer.com/images/slide_l...
What logo styles do you like (image + text, image only, text only, etc.)
Image and text are part of the logo. Use the top logo on the attached PDF as main inspiration. 2nd image on the attached PDF file is there just to show you how someone else integreated bee with URBAN but don't use it as inspiration...top logo is my favorite on the attached PDF file.
Do you have any other info or links you want to share?
Please look at the attached image on the top for idea for the logo. If you can replace elements of that logo and improve it that would be good direction.
Instead of the blue colors, have honey flowing - similar to what you see here:
http://www.google.com/imgres?imgurl=&img...
Circle behind on the image should be hectagon with bunch of smaller hectagons inside - like you see hectagons on this logo:
http://www.cherokeebeeclub.com/Cherokee%...
Maybe letters "City Hives" should have hectagons around each letter like you see on this image:
