LET ME TELL YOU ABOUT US:

Transmuter is a (currently one person, working with a virtual network of other professionals) Marketing Strategy Consultancy with particular expertise in planning, digital and branding. The work I do is typically helping a business understand what market it's in, how it should differentiate itself, and then helping it execute a marketing plan.

This could be building a product, brand or service proposition, it could be specifying a website and it's capabilities and working with developers to get it launched to market. It can (and has been) working with small budgets in the tens of thousands, but it can also be working with corporate clients with quite significant budgets.

Transmuter's proposition to clients is about making positive change happen, quickly and efficiently. It's about making the changes a business needs to be effective and successful in a changing business environment.

It's about working with people who recognise their need to make change happen, and working with them to make that happen.

That's why we've called the business Transmuter. Transmuter means one who changes things from one form into another. I want the logo to reflect making positive change happen.

HERE IS WHAT WE NEED:

A logo. Transmuter means one who changes things from one form into another. I want the logo to reflect making positive change happen.

The logo will be used on all my company material - website, blog, media presentations etc. It should be web friendly and also able to be reproduced effectively in both colour and black and white, and at a range of different sizes.

OUR TARGET AUDIENCE IS:

High level professionals in medium to large organisations in New Zealand. Typically they'll be CEO's, Chief Marketing Officers, Heads of Strategy or Digital. They should think that Transmuter is: professional, accessible and contemporary.

WE LIKE THESE DESIGNS:

Apple - simple. Tweetdeck, clean and uncluttered.

Bold simple colour and design with a contemporary but accessible and legible font.

WE ABSOLUTELY MUST HAVE (or we don't want to see) THIS IN OUR DESIGN:

See above - needs to work across a wide range of media formats and from colour through to B&W, and at all sizes. I see this ideally being bold, strong, simple and uncluttered.
