About Your Company

I teach about "life" and it's complexities and paradoxes but my entry is through talking primarily about race, culture, and human relations. I've been working in the Sociology Department at Penn State for 27 years and teaching this class for 26 years. With 800 students it is the most popular elective class at Penn State. We stream it live two times a week and have a growing social media presence. And now we need a logo that we can use in a variety of places -- but one that people will recognize and remember.

Top 3 Things

challenge, paradox, learning

Keep it simple and bold and memorable. Don't try to use any images or ideas from standard cross cultural motifs (like hand holding and multiple colors). Please, no cliches. This is an out-of-the-box class and I'm an iconoclast. Do not use Penn State or Penn State imagery in the logo or use Penn State colors. Don't use the blue and green colors from this logo: www.worldinconversation.org
