Tasty Tones
What is your industry?
Publishing and Media
What are the top 3 things you would like to communicate through your logo?
1.) We're into hard rock and blues guitar - none of that top 40 music
2.) We are gigging musicians and know our gear
3.) We have a wild side and don't take our day jobs too seriously
What logo styles do you like (image + text, image only, text only, etc.)
Image + text. "Rock" and/or "grunge" styles can work such as use of splatters, or damaged text, but aren't a necessity. These are just ideas, not instructions. Please be creative. The logo will go on the header area of the web site so it should not be too tall, but should also look good on a t-shirt and/or hoodie.
Do you have any other info or links you want to share?
I want to briefly explain the company name. Guitarists are constantly seeking to shape their "Tone" through more and better electric guitars, amps, and effects pedals. The word "Tasty" obviously means something that is delicious or tastes very good. In this case, the "tone" is what we want to reflect is so good! Our site reviews the type of electric guitar gear that affects tone, and generally publish articles about great guitarists like Derek Trucks, Gary Clark Jr., Dan Auerbach, Robben Ford, Jimi Hendrix, SRV, BB King, Buddy Guy, Albert Collins, and so on. The logo should look "rock" somehow, something that would look good as a band logo or on a concert poster, and it should play on the word "Tasty" in almost a gimmicky way. For example, you might have a graphic with a bite taken out of it, or a tongue incorporated somehow (e.g., the Rolling Stones tongue logo). It should be fun and wild, not too corporate and clip art. Please be creative! I don't want to limit you, just give you some direction and ideas.
