LET ME TELL YOU ABOUT US:
Hi, I'm Jeff Atwood, and this is my business partner, Joel Spolsky. (I'm the handsome one.) We recently launched two next-generation Q&A sites: stackoverflow.com for programmers, and serverfault.com for sysadmins and IT pros. We're gearing up to launch the third site in our trilogy -- superuser.com for power users and computer enthusiasts.
HERE IS WHAT WE NEED:
we need a logo and logo-related favico for superuser.com. (source vector art on white and black backgrounds, with final PNG rendered at around 250x60 -ish on the homepage itself)
OUR TARGET AUDIENCE IS:
superuser.com is a next-gen Q&A site for power users and computer enthusiasts -- people who have a shared and perhaps even unnatural love of computers, and love nothing more than sharing their skill and knowledge.
WE LIKE THESE DESIGNS:
Please visit stackoverflow.com and serverfault.com to get a sense of what design we already have in place. This design, however, can be a bit more "fun". This is the third site in the trilogy, and it is a bit more open-ended .. so like Return of the Jedi, there may be Ewoks.
I am a big big fan of myfonts.com redesign. also, I am a minimalis. Less is more!
WE ABSOLUTELY MUST HAVE (or we don't want to see) THIS IN OUR DESIGN:
ok, there's the obvious "super" angle here. what isn't obvious? what says "I f**king love computers! And anyone else who is as crazy about computers as I am!"
