LET ME TELL YOU ABOUT US:
We are a start-up company founded by a naturopathic physician with a background in biochemistry. The products we offer will be based on the medical evidence to date of the ingredients. The proper dosage of these ingredients is the key to them having the desired effect, and a convenient means of obtaining proper dosing is at the heart of every product. Powders, capsules, tablets or liquid forms of the ingredients will be used, depending on the best absorbed form. Formulations of vitamins, herbs and nutraceuticals are all to be offered in varying products and will be unique. The first product to be launched is Curcumin, an extract of the herb Turmeric.The name of the company is: KMC Naturals
HERE IS WHAT WE NEED:
We need a logo that incorporates our company name in it. It will be placed on each nutritional product. It will be at the top of the label of each product and must be horizontally oriented to ensure room for the products name below it. We want to convey the idea that science is now bearing out what we have known and used for centuries in traditional medicines. We would like something that conveys the following ideas: natural, effective, easily absorbed, potent, proper form, professional, proven, clean, non-toxic/ safe, and easy to take. The logo should be memorable and stand out on the shelf as exceptionally clean looking and professional. Some labels may be fairly small, about 2/12 inches high, by 3.5 inches around the container... so logo must be appropriate for such a small format.
OUR TARGET AUDIENCE IS:
Customer base is broad, including all of those interested in using natural medicine to better their health. They tend to be of middle age or older, as health problems are more prominent in this group. Both genders, although women tend to purchase natural supplements more than men. I would like to establish trust via educating the consumer about the data of the products we offer, which may mean that customers are fairly well educated. That said, many without formal education-- farmers, ranchers, etc.-- use natural supplements because it is an extension of how they care for their land and animals. I would like the costumer to think we are a logical, rational and have integrity. I would also like them to think that we can be trusted to deliver proper natural agents in their best form at a reasonable and fair price. We will not compromise integrity for the sake of offering the latest hot item in the natural medicine industry... we stand behind the effectiveness of our products.
WE LIKE THESE DESIGNS:
As stated, clean looking designs. Colors should be found somewhere in nature... nothing too synthetic looking. appealingly simple and honest, perhaps an understated professionalism about them. Symbol(s) of nature incorporated into design is fine. Font: ? is there one that can harken back to the times of the herbalists and apothecaries, yet maintain a newness and scientific edge to it...?

obnoxious colors. confusing images. too much overlay(getting too busy).
