What is the exact name you would like in your logo?
What is your industry?
Manufacturer of Auto Emblems and trailer hitch covers such as college and pro sports team logos, military logos, etc.
Describe the target audience for your logo
Sports fans who want an emblem on their car declaring their favorite team or college. Anyone who wants an emblem on their car such as religious, military, or patriotic emblem. We sell retail to the public and wholesale to retailers.
What are the top 3 things you would like to communicate through your logo?
I debated on whether to go with MVP Emblems or MVP Accessories but opted to go with MVP accessories because I want customers to know 1. that we primarily sell emblems and hitch covers with emblems, 2. That they are primarily sports related (which the "MVP" helps to communicate) but also 3. That we sell other sports related products (hence the "Accessories" in the name. Also, 4. That most of our products are chrome-plated (I have some thought on this in the "Concept" Section).
Style and Concept
What logo styles do you like (text only, image only, text and image, etc.)?
Text, or text with image, but it kind of depends. The logos I have designed myself for 4 of our websites all have image and text, and 1 is text only.
However, I would really like to see how it would look to have the MVP in our name designed as if it is an emblem made of chrome like the emblems we sell. I tried to do this myself and absolutely could not master chrome letters. You can go to one of our websites www.emblemoutlet.com to see the emblems and hitch covers we sell that I want to emulate. I would also like to see something with text only with the text chrome.
What colors do you want to see in your logo?
I want Chrome and any color that works and suggest a modern look, possibly maroon, green or dark blue, yellow, whatever. We are starting all over with a new website, packaging, business cards, logo, etc, so I am totally open on color. whatever color we end up with will be fine I just want to be consistent with all my pieces.
** IMPORTANT - Our primary competitor uses light blue for all their packaging so I want to avoid that color.
What colors do you NOT want to see in your logo?
Where will your logo be used (print, website, etc.)?
A new website www.mvpaccessories.com, packaging, business cards, brochures.
Once I am happy with the logo I will probably come back here for new, consistent logos for some of our other websites. as well as packaging graphic design, and brochure design but I have got to get a good logo first.
Do you have other info or links you want to share?
I have attached some images of a few of the emblems we sell so you will have an idea of what I want to capture in the logo.
Our best website to see the emblems and hitch covers we sell is www.emblemoutlet.com.
You can see some of the other products we sell at www.autrysports.com www.gridironsports.com and www.aggiefanshop.com.
This will be for our new wholesale site www.mvpaccessories.com
