LET ME TELL YOU ABOUT US:

This logo is for a brand new type of light industrial temporary staffing service. One with a strong social mission. We exist to benefit the worker as well as business customer. Many temporary staffing services have a terrible, but well earned reputation for exploiting workers. Customer companies sometimes use these labor services as a buffer from illegal practices such as hiring undocumented workers, discriminatory hiring practices and cheating workers out of wages fairly earned. Many of Civic Staffing's competitors are only too happy to comply. They stand to make great profits from this unethical business strategy. Conversely, other business firms want to operate as decent corporate citizensto strengthen the community, not debase it. And, they also like the public recognition that sometimes comes with "doing the right thing" for society. When those firms need a temporary staffing supplier to handle their staffing needs, Civic Staffing is the answer!

Formed as a new type of hybrid companyan "L3C"we are a for-profit company that is driven by its social mission. We aim to use jobs in the temporary staffing arena for workers emerging from skill training programs. We also aim to direct public recognition and positive PR toward our civic-minded business customers who help us achieve our mission instead of using the services of the low-end temporary help suppliers.

HERE IS WHAT WE NEED:

We need an eye-catching logo that says "civic-minded" ... "socially responsible" ... "effective." We will be using this logo in some traditional marketing media (stationery, signs, brochures, advertising, etc.) but will primarily be used on social networking sites, our yet-to-be-designed website, and blogs. Therefore, it must be scalable. We will also incorporate our new logo on various public recognition awards and plaques to be presented to our civic minded business partners. The logo design must be unique and quickly recognizable.

The logo should incorporate no more than 3 colors (including black).

OUR TARGET AUDIENCE IS:

We will be pitching our new venture to angel investors as well as to the CEOs of companies that regularly use a temporary help service. The investors we target will want to help in advancing our social mission, but will also want a financial return on their investment. It is imperative that we be seen as an effective, "civic-minded" supplier of motivated workers. We want the CEOs and other c-level managers of businesses currently using temporary staffing suppliers to understand that by using Civic Staffing, they will be reducing their potential co-employment risks associated with using the "low-end" labor law violating staffing services.

WE LIKE THESE DESIGNS:

We have no favorite designs or styles. Simple is better, as long as it's appropriate.

WE ABSOLUTELY MUST HAVE THIS IN OUR DESIGN:

Again, we think Creatives are in a better position to offer their impressions. We are not the artists.
