WE LIKE THESE DESIGNS:
Please check out the following sites which incorporate the words "Senior Living" in their company name and logo: emeritus.com, senior-living-communities.com, brookdaleliving.com. There seems to be a fascination among senior living owners with using some element of natural scenery in their logos: for instance, trees, leaves, sprigs, etc. We like their effort to remind people that they are trying to create unique communities embedded in natural settings. However, we are not committed to this effect, especially since we are not communicating directly to residents but to owners. We like the professionalism and font of the Emeritus logo, but prefer the free-flowing, less rigid feel of Brookdale's logo. Senior-living-communities.com provides one example of a simple logo that moves away from trees and sprigs. Please do not feel the need to use these logos as a point of departure.
