What We Need:
We are hosting our annual conference and we need a logo to represent the spirit of our conference theme. The logo will be used on all conference materials, which include print materials, emails, our website, signs, posters, and promotional items (e.g. bags, pens, etc.).
Conference Theme & Purpose:
The theme of the conference is "Casting a Wider Net: Expanding Partnerships and Policy for Injury & Violence Prevention." The conference will take place at the Gaylord National Resort and Convention Center in National Harbor, MD.
This theme reflects the desire of our organization to focus on increasing support for injury and violence prevention within the general pubic, with public health partners, and with policymakers. At our conference, attendees will share practices and develop partnerships that will broaden the network of public and political support necessary to prevent injuries and violence. By casting a wider net and developing strong partnerships, we will be able to make a significant and positive impact in the field of injury and violence prevention.
Our Target Audience:
This conference is an annual gathering of our members, all of whom are injury and violence prevention professionals from around the country. Our membership includes men and women aged 30-50+ years old who are well-educated and work in a variety of organizations, including health departments, hospitals, universities, and other non-profit organizations. All of our members are passionate about preventing injuries and violence and understand that forming partnerships and alliances is necessary to achieve this goal.
Logo Designs Absolutely Must:
- Consist of a simple yet sophisticated design
- Connect the theme of "Casting a Wider Net" into a visually appealing image
- Incorporate the full wording of the theme, which should be easy to read
- Translate well in full color, as well as in black and white
Also, we like color, so feel free to use colors as you see fit. The only colors that must be incorporated in some way is our blue (Pantone 287C) and our co-sponsor's purple (Pantone 259C).
Please feel free to be completely creative as you infuse the spirit of the theme within the style of the logo design.
