What is the exact name you would like in your logo?
West Winds Chamber Players
What is your industry?
What are the top 3 things you would like to communicate through your logo?
The West Winds Chamber Players is a professional music ensemble located in Oklahoma City. We perform a variety of musical styles. While all in the art music arena, these can vary from Bach and Mozart, to Stravinsky, to the newest edgy compositions that might feature an Elvis impersonator as a soloist, or light the stage in neon and blacklight. Our audience is just as diverse, from the typical symphony orchestra crowd to the 20 and 30-something jetsetters in this growing and increasingly progressive city.
We want a logo that captures the professional and artistic nature of the ensemble. While we are open to a variety of ideas, here are a few things we do and do not want...
We DO want a logo that:
-- has a clean and compelling design, with the ensemble name included and clearly readable
-- would work equally well in print, on a web page, embroidered on shirts and caps, or printed on such items as t-shirts or mugs
-- evokes the characteristics of the ensemble, as described above. Bonus points if you can also capture the adventurous nature of the western US without being trite or contrived.
Please try to avoid the following:
-- anything cutesy or cheesy
-- use of musical notes or cowboy-related imagery unless you can do it in an extraordinarily interesting and professional manner
-- use of too many colors (prefer 1-2 color, no more than 4)
What logo styles do you like (image + text, image only, text only, etc.)
