LET ME TELL YOU ABOUT US:
We are an early stage startup looking to Build (rebuild) our corporate identity
We are really impressed with what we've seen on crowdspring, -- kudos to the community.
Let me tell you a little bit about what we do first.
Pixable allows users to create and print photo books using their Facebook content. Users can pick and choose from the huge variety of content already generated and available on Facebook, including individual photos or complete albums, commentary and tagging information, to create a photo book which is printed, packaged and delivered, all at an affordable price.
I'll tell you a bit more about the what the software does to provide a clearer picture (and perhaps some inspiration?) for our logo requirements.
So, in a nutshell, what our platform does is provide a large interactive grid for a fast, easy and superior way to turn your Facebook photos into printed memorabilia.
The key takeaway here :
FAST: fastest online photo book creator.
EASY: Pixable is easy, user friendly and requires no additional software downloads
LOWEST PRICES IN THE MARKET: Our prices are the lowest in the market focusing our efforts on efficiency and reliability.
HERE IS WHAT WE NEED:
The logo will be used on our corporate site, the webapp portal where the software is housed, as well as a future iphone/Blackberry app.
OUR TARGET AUDIENCE IS:
Young audience. Age range between 18-30.
Majority will be female costumers but male audience is still an important part of our market.
They could be single or in a relationship.
Our target costumer is very social. Likes to share
Enjoys interacting in the new social media.
English speakers, mainly.
WE LIKE THESE DESIGNS:
Well, our tastes trend decidedly (and predictably) to the latest design paradigms for web startups. You know what I mean -- the kind of logos you see on TechCrunch everyday.
Our general approach would be a blue background with a clean and bright font. Two colours with a clean contrast.
A transition from a simple design into the Pixable Brand would be lovely.
I'd like something clean, crisp, fun, professional and eye-catching. Not very descriptive yet , huh? :)
Not TOO wacky
Please do contact me directly if you need some guidance -- I'd love to answer some questions to help me (and you) flesh this out some more.
WE ABSOLUTELY MUST HAVE (or we don't want to see) THIS IN OUR DESIGN:
i don't want to add too many restrictions here, but I do have some input here. Preferably, no Album images or squared frames that relate it directly to a simple picture.
As far as design elements go, I think there could be some interesting way to tie together the following elements:
* Simple (1 stop shop),
* Fast (reliable and fast delivery)
* Crisp (New digital camera resolution)
Like I said, I'm more than happy to answer questions and keeping this an interactive process...
