What is the exact name you would like in your logo?
Citizen to Citizen Alert
What is your industry?
What are the top 3 things you would like to communicate through your logo?
Take action, we are well-informed, concise.
The objective of the site is to: listen - learn - respond in some way so the logo needs to show movement in some way
What logo styles do you like (image + text, image only, text only, etc.)
https://www.airbnb.com: this is nice and love the simplicity but it lacks action.
http://www.shutterstock.com/pic.mhtml?id...: we like the movement that is conveyed by the runner in the top row, second from the left
http://www.nypl.org: like the simplicity of of the lion icon
https://www.darienlibrary.org/friends: the stacked leaf-looking image is interesting
I will attach two jpgs of other logos that we like/dislike.
Do you have any other info or links you want to share?
The blog author is an everyday citizen who will post on this new personal political blog about current political topics. Each blog will include links enabling readers to take action. The target audience is other U.S. citizens over the age of 30.
The logo needs to be in a landscape rather than portrait format. We would like to see a logo that has an icon to the left of the words 'Citizen to Citizen Alert'. The final logo will be reduced to 150 pixels in height but please submit all designs in high resolution/dimensions because it is possible that the logo could ultimately be used on caps, bags or shirts.
The logo needs to be clean and easy to understand without being too detailed or flashy. A design that is slightly understated could work. It should not represent any political party either in design or coloring. Also - we are after an image that conveys movement. Since the logo will likely be in the upper left of the site, wed like the movement to be toward the right (NOTE: We are not trying to convey a subtle message here)
