LET ME TELL YOU ABOUT US:
Product Name: Journal of Empirical Generalisations in Marketing Science (EMPGENS)
EMPGENS is a specialist on-line journal sponsored by the University of South Australia and the Ehrenberg-Bass Institute for Marketing Science.
The Journal publishes articles on Consumer Behaviour, Marketing, Marketing Metrics, Strategic Marketing, Strategy, Research Methodology.
For more information please visit:
University of South Australia www.uinsa.edu.au
Ehrenberg-Bass Institute www.MarketingScience.info
EMPGENS Journal - www.empgens.com (Note that this website is under construction no need to incorporate colors, fonts, styles into your design)
Please note that while the journal is sponsored by the University and the Ehrenberg-Bass Institute it is a separate entity and we DO NOT want the logo to incorporate or reflect these logos.
HERE IS WHAT WE NEED:
We are looking for a logo for EMPGENS. The main purpose for this logo is for use on a website however, it would also be used on other marketing collateral including stationary.
OUR TARGET AUDIENCE IS:
Our target customers are marketing academics and marketing professionals of all ages.
WE LIKE THESE DESIGNS:
Style: We are looking for a logo that looks professional, but not too boring and academic. We would like the logo to reflect that the research published in EMPGENS is serious and important but also interesting and applicable to marketers working in industry.
Font: Fairly open to different font options but would like the EMPGENS to be clear and easy to read. Also, we need to be able to resize the image to a fairly small size (for the website, letterhead etc) without impacting on the clarity of the lettering. We do not really like curly, calligraphy-type fonts.
Colours: We are fairly open to colours as we do not yet have a fixed colour scheme (as such ignore colouring on the supplied website). However, we do not want gaudy colours as an academic journal we want to look professional and muted colours would be preferred. That said, please do not feel restricted to shades of grey, navy and black.
WE ABSOLUTELY MUST HAVE (or we don't want to see) THIS IN OUR DESIGN:
We must have the word EMPGENS included in the logo.
Please note that while the journal is sponsored by the University and the Ehrenberg-Bass Institute it is a separate entity and we DO NOT want the logo to incorporate or reflect these logos.
Also, the website www.empgens.com is currently being re-designed. As such please DO NOT feel any need to incorporate colors, fonts or consider the style of this site when coming up with your design.
