LET ME TELL YOU ABOUT US:

American Observer is a website which reports and provides context for current events. Covering the spectrum of world events from geopolitics to the arts, neither conservative nor liberal, AO takes opposite paths and adds clarity to broaden and deepen a reader's perspective.

HERE IS WHAT WE NEED:

Logo needs to be modular and include an iconic element for website and print. Elements of the logo can possibly contribute to design scheme for American Observer's website. The logo should convey the following look: timeless, clean, crisp, smart, distinctive, can be abstract, trend more towards simple than complex.

OUR TARGET AUDIENCE IS:

Target Audience is people who are in their late 20's to late 40's who are college educated. People who have grown tired of the same news/editorials and are looking for alternative content which will broaden their perspective, provide context, check the facts and provide distinctive viewpoints.

Attributes/Keywords: interesting, distinctive, credible, clear, provides context, smart, serious with appropriate humor, people to see AO as their tool, people to feel they have gained information/insight they can share with others, people to be challenged, a fast and visually appealing read, strategic, refreshing, essential, leading

WE LIKE THESE DESIGNS:

Needs to look good in color and black and white and be legible at a small size.

WE ABSOLUTELY MUST HAVE (or we don't want to see) THIS IN OUR DESIGN:

Do Not Want to See: globes, patriotic look, maps, telescope, eyes, eye glasses, magnifying glass, compass, political look, doors, red/white/blue color palette, American centric look.

Must Have: Please provide art in raster- and vector-formats. Make sure fonts are converted to outlines.
