LET ME TELL YOU ABOUT US:

Fuse DC will be creating an open source online knowledge and advice resource and networking hub tailored to youth development professionals in the Washington DC metro area. This project is in its infancy. We need an energizing, youthful and exciting logo to jump start this project.

HERE IS WHAT WE NEED:

We need a memorable logo for this new volunteer-led project. We hope it will become our brand. Something that others will see and recognize as a symbol of a source for open discussion and trusted information. Design should be in color, but should be as strong or stronger in black and white.

OUR TARGET AUDIENCE IS:

Our visitors/customers are non-profit professionals that work in the youth development sector (after-school programs, summer camps, . Currently, we are focused on professionals serving low-income youth in DC, but we may expand to additional US cities in the future. We want our brand to convey to our visitors/customers that we are knowledgeable, trustworthy and cutting edge. Fuse DC will embody collaboration, immediate access to free, relevant advice and information; innovation through idea-sharing; progress; and a community of individuals who strive to empower low-income urban youth through opportunity and support.

WE LIKE THESE DESIGNS:

We like sleek, modern, minimalist design (think Apple products). Most customers will experience the Fuse DC brand through our website, but we will also be printing this logo onto business cards and possibly other materials, so it should have simple, easily reproduced colors. Nothing outside of the four color process.

WE ABSOLUTELY MUST HAVE THIS IN OUR DESIGN:

We are pretty open to ideas right now. We would like it to have our name (Fuse DC) and it should somehow relate to non-profits/youth development. The tag line/motto may be "Don't burn out. Collaborate". We would like one image to be the logo and another image with the logo and tag line "Don't burn out. Collaborate".
