Who are you?
Hi there- I'm Julie and I am an audiologist - which is a hearing Dr. I've been practicing for 13 years and do a lot of work with musicians in order to help them optimize their live performance and conserve their hearing - I assist them in choosing and customizing the earpieces (in ear monitors) that they wear when they perform live as well as custom musicians earplugs. I have worked with many of the biggest names in the music industry (think Alicia, Kanye, Bon Jovi, John Mayer and the list goes on and on) and feel like now is the time to brand and market what I already do on a daily basis! Check out www.ultimateears.com and www.sensaphonics.com and you will see the products I work with - these companies are two of my biggest referral sources, but I would like to market myself more locally in NYC to emerging artists as well as to give a name to my business.
What do you need?
I need a logo and soon to follow a website for my business - I like the feel of www.ultimateears.com website - modern and edgy as it caters to music industry, but it still needs to be professional as I'm the Dr. My business at this point will be called Musicians Hearing Services of NY (unless you can think of something better) so would like the logo to be clean, modern and appealing to musicians and audio enthusiasts - perhaps a treble clef w/an ear in it subliminally?
Who Is Your Audience?
My audience will mainly be musicians, sound engineers, professionals in music production and audiophiles. This product is a necessary tool for performing musicians and a luxury item for those who desire the best sound quality in a custom earphone on the market for use with their iPods.
We Like These Examples
As said above I really like the feel of Ultimate Ears website (which is my major referral source) - but to get more of an idea of what my business is all about please see: http://www.rockstarears.com/home.html. I don't feel that this website is professional enough, but my business is very similar to this audiologist's business except she is in LA.
We Absolutely Must Have
I like a modern, edgy, professional feel - black background I think will be best - other than that I am open...
