Marketing Shebang specializes in marketing women-owned businesses. (Hence the "she" in "Shebang.")
Our primary service is copywriting; we write mostly for the web (website content, email campaigns, blogs, etc.) with some print work (brochures, press releases, etc.)
In addition to writing, we also help clients with marketing strategies, social networking, SEO practices, etc.
HERE IS WHAT WE NEED:
The logo will be used on our business cards, stationery, blog, website; also, in e-newsletters and emails.
We need a clean, clever, streamlined logo that uses a san serif font
The logo needs to be feminine but in a clever and subtle way - NOT girly, pink, etc.
It should be energetic and even a bit playful yet still very professional
We prefer curves to rigid lines; nothing tech-y looking at all
We chose the name Marketing Shebang because of the she in shebang. Use your imagination to dream up how this might be emphasized, so at first glance its apparent (or hints) that we market women-owned businesses. (Were aware of the sexual connotations of she and bang, so be careful there!)
Flexible in sizing (looks good big or small)
Flexible in color (looks good in color or black and white)
Wed like to see full color as well as two-color options
OUR TARGET AUDIENCE IS:
Smart, savvy female ages 25 55 years old.
Women who own established businesses with 1 20 employees
Women entrepreneurs launching new businesses.
In general, our clients are creative. They own retail stores, interior design firms, yoga studios. Theyre also indi fashion designers, musicians, chefs, etc. We dont, for example, tend to work with lawyers, finance people, and so on those more traditional lines of work.
What we want our clients to think about us:
In a crowd of 100 other companies, we want to stand out for our passion and expertise in helping women-owned businesses flourish. We want our clients to know that our specialty in working ONLY with women makes us more valuable to them than "generalist" writers.
