We are a live music discovery site. Our new logo needs to be clean, edgy, exciting, and use upbeat/energetic colours - but not intimidating/busy/menacing.
HearWhere.com is a search engine for local live concert listings. We have listings for over 1 Million shows and 1 Million artists around the world and bring all types of music to our users, not just the popular stuff. And not just US/North American based ideas about live music - we get traffic from Europe and Latin America.
While clubs and concerts goers are a big part of our audience, so are regular folks who frequent small jazz clubs, gritty bars, and coffee shops. Design must appeal to all.
Our brand essence is DISCOVERY
-Discover live music, local or anywhere
-Discover new venues
-Discover new music/artists
-Discover new alternatives for entertainment

HERE IS WHAT WE NEED:
We need a new logo, tag line, and logo icon created for web, print, and mobile applications.
We also need a Powered by: version of the logo.
We need any font chosen if not a standard ttf.
Logo is to be in colour and hi res along with smaller versions for use on the website and signatures etc.
File format is .psp (Photoshop); layered.
OUR TARGET AUDIENCE IS:
Anyone looking for live music or alternative types of entertainment.
This spans all ages, gender, and music preferences BUT is not only a hardcore music fan but often a regular person looking for something to do.
Online only we are a virtual entity.

ourstage.com - encompasses live music look and feel (stage, marquee, lights, etc)
